Main differences between a tennis court and a pickleball court

The main difference is size. Although there would not be much space left to play, you can actually fit four pickleball courts onto a standard tennis court. The other difference is net height. The pickleball net is only 34″, 2″ shorter than a tennis court net. The last main difference relating to the actual game is that the balls and racket used differ.

General pickleball installation requirements

When installing a pickleball court, a slope of 1% in every 10ft in one direction is required. The court should also be well-aligned and established in a North-to-South direction. Doing so will ensure that when the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, it does not interfere with your game and potentially blur the player’s vision.
